BJARNE Pedersen has admitted it would be justice if Millennium Stadium referee Marek Wojaczek has been struck off the Grand Prix list.

The Pirates' captain was speaking after Wimborne Road clerk of the course Paul Applin told the crowd during Poole's 54-36 league win over Coventry last night: "He (Wojaczek) has been relieved of his next GP appointment."

Applin was clerk at Cardiff during the British GP on Saturday when the Polish official wrongly excluded Pedersen from a semi-final race, costing him the chance of winning the event.

Wojaczek has been roundly criticised by the whole speedway fraternity since his woeful mistake.

So when Applin, who attended the FIM Jury post event meeting at Cardiff, made his claim to Pirates' fans, it received the biggest cheer of the night.

Applin, in a centre green interview, said: "Ole (Olsen, the GP race director) and I (as clerk) aren't allowed to influence or change any decisions made during the meeting.

"But Ole and I had a meeting with the ref and discussed all the decisions he made after the meeting."

That is normal FIM practice, and, with Pedersen having spoken to Olsen on Monday, it appears Wojaczek will pay the price by being withdrawn from his next GP appointment.

It's believed, though, he's still down to referee the final round at Gelsenkirchen in October.

Pedersen said: "Of course everyone makes mistakes, but he made three big ones in one night.

"Ole and I have had a talk, but I want to keep what was said between Ole and myself.

"I think it was a very big mistake (to exclude me), that's why I think its fair play that something happens to the ref because if not they control everything.

"If they take him off, it's a sign to all refs to be sure to make the right decisions in future.

"I said before I hope something will happen when the ref makes a big mistake like this."

Pedersen, clearly exasperated with the incident, added: "For me, it's done know. I want to move forward and go to my next meeting.

"I really don't want to waste any more energy on it."

Pedersen stressed he had no personal problem with Wojaczek, only about the wrong decisions.

The Dane said: "The problem with poor refs could be resolved by having an extra ref.

"The GP series is a big event and I would welcome having two refs for every meeting in 2009."
